Ford Motor Co., moving to expand its hybrid truck lineup, has signed a deal with Azure Dynamics Corp. to put plug-in hybrid powertrains in F-Series Super Duty trucks. Azure will retrofit the F-350, F-450 and F-550 trucks with its hybrid-electric drive trains.
Update 2/9/09: Finally, Subaru has announced that the Subaru Impreza Diesel will be coming to the UK, starting at £20,000 OTD for the 2.0D RC. The Mitsubishi L200 pick-up – a cross between a truck and a car – now comes with a 5 year, 125,000 mile warranty. We don’t usually do commercial vehicle news on Cars UK, but the Mistubishi L200 isn’t just a commercial pick-up, it also does a passable job as a family runaround. When we reviewed the L200 in Barbarian spec a couple of years ago we had a lot of fun.
